Portfolio manager - София

General duties:
• Prepare investment policy statements, outlining our clients’ investment objectives
• Construct successful investment portfolios based on market conditions and economic trends. Monitors the investments
• Rebalance the portoflios in line with approved investment strategy, or to reach an investment objective. Apply knowledge of trends to client portfolios, suggesting changes or adjustments accordingly. Maintain records and files of portfolio activity
• Determine acceptable risk levels for clients based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions
• Maintain new and existing client relationships, including informing clients of market conditions, updating them on investment research and economic trends, and meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives
• Evaluate the performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with standards provided by regulatory organizations, including conformance with investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti-fraud measures
• Deliver presentations on client portfolios and recent market trends
• Prospecting for new clients
Requirements:
• University degree (Economics, Statistics, Business information, IT)
• Minimum of 2 or more years’ professional portfolio management experience
• Detailed understanding of capital markets and intermarket relationships
• Fluent in English
• Experience and knowledge in the banking sector is an advantage
• Database skills are considered an advantage (MySQL, Python, R, Oracle, BI tools). Proficient in various financial management software like Bloomberg Terminal
• Excellent analytical skills, high responsibility and self-motivation
• Professional certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar qualification approved by FSC
