SUMMARY:
Under the direction of Director Partner and Sales Enablement, Instructional Designer is responsible for ensuring Acronis Partner and Sales readiness & capacity globally through content creation in the areas of channel evangelism, social outreach, new hire, ongoing and on-demand training programs, bootcamps, certification, etc.

Execute on Partner and Sales readiness & capacity vision and strategy in accordance with the Acronis Sales mission and Acronis CRO direction
Collect the stakeholder requirements, plan, create and maintain instructional content in various different formats and medium for tech talks, blogs, articles, product demonstrations and training that could be leveraged by Partner Technology Evangelists and Sales Trainers to evangelize Acronis brand and technology across Acronis Partner and Sales communities
Organize and deliver regular train-the-trainer sessions for Partner Technology Evangelists and Sales Trainers to introduce the content created, assist in running Acronis Partner and Sales training & certifications and enabling Acronis Partners to deliver training and other professional services on behalf of Acronis
In collaboration with Partner Technology Evangelists and Sales Trainers develop and manage Acronis Partner and Sales enablement assets, such as Acronis Academy and Acronis Learn programs, Acronis Partner collateral, Acronis Sales training curriculum


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Supply content for all Partner and Sales readiness & capacity initiatives driven globally, including:

Content to evangelize Acronis brand, cyber protection and cloud technologies in front of Acronis Partners and Sales, during Partner events, on-site visits, webinars, bootcamps and demos
Content to support cyber protection and cloud technology discussions in Acronis technical community for Acronis Partners and Sales, support various community programs
Content to drive social outreach through blogging, articles, technology talks with Acronis Partners and Sales
Content for sales & technical training on cyber protection and cloud for Acronis Partners and Sales
Drive content-related Partner readiness & capacity initiatives, including:

Introducing and maintaining Acronis Academy and Acronis Learn training assets for Partners and Sales respectively, including elearning, video tutorials, recorded demonstrations, ILT courses and certification exams
Introducing and maintaining other training assets for Partners and Sales, such as Acronis Partner collateral and Acronis Sales training curriculum
Delivering train-the-trainer sessions to internal and external teams to enable them for leveraging content supplied
Planning and arranging content creation roadmap globally
Keeping the content assets up-to-date through the defined regular update cycle
Individual success will be based on the following measurements:

Content creation effectiveness based on Partner and Sales performance results
Partner and Sales satisfaction measured through regular surveys
Designer utilization or platform efficiency
Actual to planned content assets
Actual to budget
Consistency, timeliness and high quality of deliverables


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required - Master degree would be a plus
3-5 years prior instructional content creation, technical marketing, technical writing, course development/program management, multimedia, project management or channel training experience in a technology company
Mastery in adult learning methodologies and instructional content/course development
Proven record of content creation for technology communities, sales and technical training and elearning
Strong understanding of how software sales work
Proven expertise in cyber protection, cloud, virtualization technologies; Microsoft and VMware solutions; other IT concepts and terminologies and Content creation software or learning management systems
Strong English language skills. German, Japanese or Spanish language will be a plus
Strong presentation, communication and relationship building skills
Strong accountability and drive for results
Flexibility, sense of urgency and a commitment to meet business goals
Ability to work well without supervision, in a stressful environment, with strict deadlines, shifting priorities and rapid change
