Senior Solutions Architect

REQUIREMENT SUMMARY:


The Senior Solutions Architect is a critical position within our consulting division, focusing on the design and implementation of high-performance computing and container platforms. With a strategic presence in Sofia, this role requires an individual with deep technical expertise and the ability to drive innovative solutions in complex environments.

Description:

Extensive experience with Linux System Administration, including package management, scheduling, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in workload schedulers such as Slurm and Altair PBS Pro, as well as cluster managers like Bright Cluster Manager.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, Singularity, and Podman, and at least two container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
Experience with cloud solutions such as OpenStack and virtualization technologies like KVM and OpenShift virtualization.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing, as well as networking stacks like InfiniBand.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex technical projects.
Relevant certifications, including Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes (RHCSA, RHCE) and CNCF certifications like CKA, CKAD, and CKS, are preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive roadmaps and strategies to support business growth and scalability.
Lead the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs and lead proof-of-concept engagements to successful outcomes, employing a consultative approach to advance opportunities
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to Kubernetes, containers, and cloud computing, applying this knowledge to develop best practices.
Engage cross-functional teams, including system administrators, developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business requirements and delivering solutions that enhance customer success.
Conduct performance optimization and health assessments, including operating systems, storage, and container orchestration platforms.
Mentor and train team members, fostering technical knowledge and leadership skills through active participation in tech talks and innovation forums.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
