We are looking for our reputable client – a multinational company in the FMCG sector - for a competent and motivated professional to join their team on the position of:

GL Accountant - SSC

Among the responsibilities will be:

· Responsible for several entities for service delivery
· Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Prepares monthly, annual and ad hoc financial reports in accordance with close and other timetables of the entities under his responsibility
· Manages continuous improvement projects and participates in initiatives for the improvement of the General Accounting function
· Drive continuous improvement and partner with internal and external stakeholders
· Coaching and supporting the accountants in Bulgaria in their daily activities
· Acting as a SME within the finance team and representing the first line of escalation for queries related to the accounting processes

Requirements:

· 3+ years of successful work experience preferably in SSC
· Experience in transition processes
· Deep understanding of accounting regulations and IFRS
· Excellence in Excel
· Experience of ERP is essential, and knowledge of SAP is advantage
· Active work in multitasking mode under pressure
· Ability to meet tight deadlines, to be accurate and with attention to details
· Fluency in English is required
