For one of our clients – a leading software development company and award-winning game provider in the online casino industry, part of a fast-growing international tech group – we are looking for a precise and confident professional for the role of Payroll Expert.
This is a key in-house position where you will take full ownership of payroll operations for the Bulgarian entity while working in a dynamic, international gaming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Handle end-to-end payroll for our Bulgarian team accurately and on time;
*Ensure full compliance with Bulgarian labour, tax, and social security laws;
*Calculate and process taxes, social security, health insurance, and statutory payments;
*Stay updated on legislative changes and keep payroll processes compliant;
*Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits as needed;
*Prepare monthly payroll reports and resolve employee payroll inquiries in Bulgarian and English;
*Partner with HR and Finance on bonuses, leave, and terminations;
*Liaise with authorities and institutions to meet deadlines and compliance standards.

Requirements:
*Proven experience managing payroll independently in Bulgaria;
*Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour law, tax, and social security regulations;
*Experience with payroll systems and strong Excel skills;
*Highly detail-oriented with strong confidentiality;
*Able to interpret and apply legislative updates independently;
*Very good communication skills in Bulgarian and English;
*Experience in international, tech, or fast-paced environments is a plus.
