Process Center Specialist
Lufthansa Technik is the world’s leading provider for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft, components and engines. Lufthansa Technik Sofia performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

In connection with development of our processes and company growth we are now looking for:

Process Center Specialist
Ref. PCP

The role of the Process Center Specialist is to insure data availability of purchasing terms and conditions within the respective IT tools, perform analysis of Key Performance Indicators and develop optimization measures of purchasing and supply chain subjects, assist the lead buyer during tendering process and be responsible for parts of the tendering process, insure a professional basis of internal and external communication.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the process oriented display of the contracted terms and conditions between Lufthansa Technik and their suppliers within the respective IT.
• Analysis of respective Key Performance Indicators as well as derivation and preparation of relevant measures concerning the optimization of purchasing and supply chain subjects.
• Responsibility concerning the data conformity of purchase orders.
• Operative responsibility of the process oriented display concerning purchasing data as well as the respective data management.
• Support of the lead buyer during the tendering process.
• Assist with projects / reporting as necessary.
• Data mine from SAP system to create various reports.
• Assist the lead buyer with supplier related tasks/reporting.
• Assist in continuous development of departmental KPI’s.
• Coordinate and interface on a professional basis with all internal and external colleagues.


• Professional high school diploma (technical- or business administration degree preferred).
• Relevant job experience is desirable.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (German language is an advantage)
• Knowledge in the field of the aircraft industry will be considered advantage.
• Excellent knowledge in Excel/Word/PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or other ERP system is desirable. Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented.

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility.
• Willingness of traveling abroad.
• Willingness to participate in trainings.
