Lufthansa Technik is the world’s leading provider for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components and engines with more than 50 years’ experience in helping the world’s leading airlines deliver top-quality products at competitive rates. Lufthansa Technik Sofia performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

In connection with development of our processes and company growth we are now looking for:

Central IT Services Operations Support (Ref. CITS)


The primary role of the Central IT Services Operations Support includes the following main responsibilities:

• 2nd and 3rd Level Support for IT Services within a multicultural and international team
• Lead or support IT change management process
• Incident / Change / Problem Coordination between Lufthansa Technik facilities and Service Provider(s)
• Manage service requests and inquiries within given SLAs
• Timely elevate and/or escalate to next level complex problems
• Coordinate maintenance downtimes of basic infrastructure components Preparation and update of documentation


To be successful with the role you need to comply with the following requirements:

• University or college degree in Computer science or similar experience
• Experience in leading IT related changes and projects is preferred
• Excellent practical skills in System Administration
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Technologies as : Server 2008/2012; Active directory management; DFS; Windows Client OS
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience with advanced IT troubleshooting, Windows Server and related enterprise services
• Very good analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Previous experience working in managed environment
• Basic knowledge in networking
• ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certification is preferred
• Ability to operate in high-demand emergency situations
• Customer and service oriented behavior
• Strong Team player
